Our Inaugural Event
The Company, in its infancy, is proud to announce their inaugural event, a staged reading of STRANGE SNOW by Stephen Metcalfe.
STRANGE SNOW is the story of three engaging characters, thrown together during one intense day, each trying to deal with what life has handed them. Early one morning, Megs, a Vietnam vet, shows up unexpectedly at the house of David, an old war buddy, in an attempt to repair his friend’s war-damaged life. He finds not only hostility from the bitter friend, but also an unlikely attraction to David’s spinster sister, Martha. Emotional fireworks result as the day proceedsĀ from a morning fishing trip through the day to a shared evening containing numbers of confrontations and revelations. This touching and human play exposes the raw anger and emotional isolation suffered by veterans of war and their loved ones.
